Past Experience:

Shawn Monaghan bought his first video camera at the age of 13 with money he made as a paperboy for the Milwaukee Journal Newspaper. A self taught filmmaker while going to college for Political Science. While in the military, he documented his military tour in Afghanistan entitled, "Afghan Video Diary" which can be found on YouTube. Writer, director and co-editor of "The Apprentice," 48 Hour Film Project 2009 (Milwaukee) winner. He is the co-creator and host of Firestarter Films, a local film festival in Milwaukee that occurs every couple months. Shawn's films deal with contemporary issues and are full of political satire. No matter what your views are on the world, Shawn will leave you questioning everything you find sacred.

Working on high quality short films in preparation for feature films.
